Who would’ve thought picking apples could be so much effin’ fun? This was also a first for me, and I was invited by my friend Nicole and her friend Nneka, whom I met while bowling a month before. We went mid November of 2011. It was sunny and 65 degrees and I loved every single minute of it!

Late nights and early mornings, welcome to Atl!
What I loved most about this trip, like many of the others, was the ability to attend both social and educational events. Our time in Atlanta, Georgia was the epitome of late nights and early mornings.
Independence day in MIA!!!
Is there a better way to celebrate our country’s freedom than with sun, water, sand, fireworks and friends? I doubt it! Last 4th of July some of my friends and I took a trip to South Beach-Miami, FL. And here’s a little bit of the experience…
Over the hills and through the woods…
…to grandmother’s house we didn’t go. However, last May I did go hiking for the first time with my friend Nicole and her friends, Melissa and Warren. It was pure gratification. The weather. The serenity. The fresh air. The workout. The uncertainty. I’d recommend everyone do it and once the weather breaks, I shall hike again! Continue reading

Some of my closest friends and I took a weekend trip to Atlantic City in November of 2010! It was one of our first trips together, so we knew there was an experience to be had.

Internship aboard: Media Two
I recently obtained an internship with Media Two, a publishing company in Hampden-Baltimore, MD. It’s an amazing company, with a riveting staff, located in a dynamic building. I mean really, the architecture of this building is breathtaking! It looks like a classic church on the outside, with a current twist on the inside.
Anyhow, here’ s some work I’ve done for Media Two thus far. It’s an event posting called “Dinotopia: The Fantastical Art of James Gurney,” for The Hunt, a magazine in Brandywine, DE. Check it out.
Moving forward, while giving back
